Frisky Business MEGA Adoption Event, One Day Only, All Adoptions $8, October 18th, - Washington Humane Society, Georgia Avenue Adoption Center

Washington, DC – The Washington Humane Society (WHS) is traveling back to the 1980s for one day only! On Saturday, October 18, all animals adopted from the Georgia Avenue Adoption Center are available for just an $8 adoption fee during our “Frisky Business” 1980s themed adoption event. Plus, we are opening one hour early to offer this choice special for a full eight hours (11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).

Pop by 7319 Georgia Ave., NW to visit all of the furry dudes and dudettes looking for new homes! We’ll also be chilling out front with Adopt Force One (our mobile adoption vehicle), so you will have an even greater selection of rad animals to choose from!

All pets adopted from the Washington Humane Society go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our standard adoption counseling and approval process applies to all adoptions, and a $15 DC dog license fee is required for dogs adopted by DC residents (scrunchies and leg warmers not included).
