Watch as Hope For Paws Miraculously Save a Pit Bull from a Busy Los Angeles Freeway

Living near a busy, dangerous freeway is no place for a dog to call home, which was sadly the case for a pit bull named Veyron.

The animal rescue organization Hope For Paws received a call that a homeless pit bull was scared and stranded near a Los Angeles freeway.

Dedicated workers from Hope for Paws spent ample time trying to get the timid dog away from his surroundings, and in a terrifying life-or-death moment near an overpass, the team was eventually able to rescue the shaken pittie.

With the efforts of Hope for Paws and trainers, Veyron is now a happy, healthy dog. He gets to run and play and no longer lives in fear. Veyron is ready to leave his old life behind and be adopted and brought into a caring forever home.

Watch Veyron's journey from the streets to the hearts of animal lovers everywhere below:

Frightened Stray Dog Gets Rescued…Then Gets a Kiss from Betty White

When Eldad Hagar of Hope For Paws went to rescue this dog, the poor pooch was so scared he hid his head. Eldad and Lisa Arturo had to use a soccer net to coral him into a small area so they could get a leash on him.

They named him Einstein. After treatment and a cleanup he looked like a different dog. Happy, loving and playful!

Einstein got adopted by Actor/Director Emanuele Secci; the two of them are now inseparable. He has a Facebook page too.

Homeless Dog and Her Puppy, Who Were Rescued Off of the Freeway, Now Available for Adoption [Video]

There are over 70 million homeless dogs and cats living in the U.S. While these animals may be homeless for a variety of reasons, they all share the same need for a warm, loving home. Finding a home for all these needy animals is no small task, but, thankfully, there are many amazing organizations working to help.

Hope for Paws, for example, specializes in rescuing homeless dogs in the Los Angeles area.

In this video, the Hope for Paws rescue team sets out to save a mother dog and her puppy who have been living next to the freeway. Living in an area so close to heavy traffic is extremely dangerous for any animal, especially so for a new little pup.

While the mom was reluctant to trust the rescuers, she came around thanks to the help of the kind people who had been feeding her. These Good Samaritans had named the mother “Oreo,” so it only seemed fitting for the Hope for Paws team to name her pup “Cookie Monster.”

With a little coaxing and a lot of kisses, Oreo and Cookie Monster made it safely to the Hope for Paws headquarters where they were given all the grooming and care they needed. Now that they’re sparkly and clean, Oreo and Cookie Monster are ready to be adopted into a forever home!

Sharing from: Hope For Paws and PAL Rescue

Hope For Paws and PAL Rescue teamed up to save three dogs who have been living on the streets for a long time. When Lisa Chiarelli and I arrived on the rescue location, we found Anna & Aurora, and we also found their friend... dead on the road.

We were able to save them in this challenging rescue, and a couple of days ago, our friend Diana Lundin Pet Photography volunteered to take some beautiful pictures of them in their new amazing home.

Stray Senior Dog In Danger At Sanitation Plant Gets Heartwarming Rescue

A senior dog smelt like a sewer and looked even worse when Hope for Paws came to rescue him at a water treatment facility in Los Angeles.

A sanitation plant is an extremely dangerous place for an animal or a human, and the rescue was especially called in to help the dog and given special clearance to do so. When you first see him, he is so dejected and defeated. That’s why it’s so amazing to see a smile come back to his face just from getting a bath and some TLC!

Things are looking up for Mufasa (now renamed Goji). He’s about 8 years old and is currently in foster care with Lionel’s Legacy, a senior dog rescue.

Homeless Dogs Rescued From Junkyard Transform Into Beautiful, Loving Pups

Little strays Elmer and Elsie were scared and covered with motor oil when members of Hope For Paws found them alone in a Los Angeles-area junkyard.

Elsie was so terrified that upon seeing her rescuers, she darted well out of arm's reach underneath a low platform. It took time, but with characteristic patience and kindness, Hope For Paws' Eldad Hagar and Lisa Arturo eventually coaxed both of the pups out of their hiding places.

Bunny, The Pit Bull Was Abandoned by Her Owners, When She Was Found by "Hope For Paws": A Heartwarming Video

Seeing a dog terrified and alone is hard to watch, but this video had such a happy ending it was definitely worth it!

When Hope for Paws found Bunny, she had been abandoned by her owners in a remote stretch of land and had crawled under a fence onto government property. She was too terrified to come to the rescuers to get the help she needed, until they pulled out…cheeseburgers!

She was so appreciative that she showed her love the best way she knew how... by resting her head in her hero's lap.
